Mapleton, Iowa—Hans P Jensen, 80, Mapleton, died Sunday at his home after a sudden illness.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Walter Funeral Home. The Rev. Homer Perry will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Mapleton under the direction of Walter Funeral Home in Mapleton.

Mr. Jensen was born May 5, 1897, in Mapleton. He lived in the Mapleton area all his life. He farmed for several years and worked for Hoak Construction for 17 years. Mr. Jensen owned and operated Jensen’s Café in Mapleton for several years and was the manager of the Maple Crest apartments in Mapleton for several years

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Ted (Jennie) Uhl of Mapleton, two nephews and four nieces.
