Ethel Bethine Mann, daughter of Robert and Edith (Uhl) Musser, was born December 26, 1911 at Orchard, Nebraska and died September 1, 1974 at Paradise, California. She had reached the age of 62 years and 5 days.
Mrs. Mann moved to Mapleton with her parents when she was a young girl. She later resided in Pocahantas, Onawa and Sioux City, Iowa, before moving to California in 1940.
She married Archie Baker in 1928. She was married to Paul Mann at Elk Point, South Dakota in October 1935. She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church at Paradise, California.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband; Paul Mann of Paradise, California; two sons, Robert Baker of Ft. Dodge, Iowa and Howard Baker of Lancaster, California; one brother, Edwin Musser of Roland Heights, California; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, September 5, 1974 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mapleton, Iowa. Father Walter Bruch officiated and burial was in St Mary’s Cemetery. Rosary was held Wednesday, September 4, at 8:30 p.m. at the Walter Funeral Chapel.
Pallbearers were: Dale Uhl, Dean Uhl, Mike Baker, Kenneth Kafton, Larry Kafton and Leo Streck.
