Mrs. Kate M. Dugdale was born July 14, 1907, at Onawa, Iowa and passed from this life on Saturday morning, August 5, 1972. Death came in her home here in Onawa, she had reached the age of 65 years.

She was united in marriage with Charles Dugdale in Onawa on October 12, 1937. Her entire life-time was spent here in Onawa.

Survivors include her husband, Charles of Onawa; one daughter (Delores) Mrs. Dale Wyland of Lincoln, Illinois; one grandson, Randy; her father, Peter Cooper of Onawa; two sisters, (Jennie) Mrs. Robert McJunkin of Oakland, Iowa and (Belva) Mrs. Emil Sabatka of Columbus, Nebraska.

She was preceded in death by her mother, one son, Ralph and one daughter, Judy.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, August 8, 1972 at 11 a.m. at the First Christian Church, Onawa, with Rev. Everett Epperson officiating. Mrs. Orland Ferris sang “The Old Rugged Cross” and “Rock of Ages” accompanied by Jane Reynolds.

Bearers were Ben Grandgenett, Otto West, Robert Carrier, Derwin House, Harry Squier and Wayne Loomis. Interment was in the Onawa Cemetery with arrangements by Pearson Funeral Home of Onawa.
