Susan Bumsted Craig, 56, of Bentonville, Ark., formerly of Mapleton, died November 28, 2009 at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville after an 18 year illness.

Memorial services were held at First United Methodist Church in Bentonville. A second service will be in Sioux City at a later date. Arrangements byt Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory with online condolences made at funeralmation.com.

Susan was born April 29, 1953 in Mapleton and grew up in the Ute area. She attended school in Ute and Charter Oak and graduated from Morningside College with a B.A. degree. She was a teacher and taught special needs children for many years. She married Michael Craig at Ute in 1975.

She is survived by her husband Michael and three children, Karen and Stacey, Lisa and Tracy, Christopher and Wendy. He r mother Beverly Bumsted, a sister Sharon Brasel, brother Paul and Ann, sister-in-law Ruth Ann and grandchildren Marena, Jacob and India.

She was preceded in death by her father Earl, brother Jack, father-in-law Robert Craig.
