LaDonna (Donna) Clara Uhl, age 87, beloved wife, mother, grandmother passed away peacefully after a long illness on September 30th at her home at 2803 Whispering Springs Dr. Spring, Tx. 77373.

Donna was born to Andrew and Clara Sasge on the 4th of July 1922 in Charter Oak, Iowa.

She graduated from Mapleton High School in Mapleton, Iowa. She married Delbert W. Uhl on July 2nd, 1942.

Donna had worked as chief operator for North-western Bell; Mapleton Trust for 12 years and at Uhl Standard Oil Station at 4th and Courtright for many years.

Donna enjoyed all her friends and family in the Mapleton area. She enjoyed playing cards, travel and reading.

Donna and her husband moved to Spring, Tx. from Mapleton, Iowa in 1985 to be near their daughter Penny (Uhl) LeGate and her grandsons Edward LeGate II and Jason LeGate.

Donna is survived by her husband of 67 years, Delbert Uhl; daughter Penny LeGate and husband Edward of Spring, Tx.; grandsons Edward LeGate II and wife Kristin of Lantana, Tx; Jason LeGate and wife Amy of McKinney, Tx.

A memorial service was conducted at 11:00 o'clock in the morning on Thuirsday October 22nd at St. Edwards Catholic Church, 2601 Spring Stuebner Rd. Spring, Texas.
