Hartington, Nebr.—Effie E. Olson, 95, of Hartington died Sunday in a nursing home in Hartington.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Hartington. The Rev. Keith Holste will officiate. Burial will be in the Hartington City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. today in the Wintz Funeral Home in Hartington.

Mrs. Olson, the former Effie E. Opsahl, was born Jan. 21, 1890, in Mapleton, Iowa and moved to Carpenter, S.D., as a child. She married Melvin A. Olson Dec 11, 1912, in Carpenter. They lived in Clark, S.D. from 1926 to 1933, when they moved to Hartington. They owned and operated the Olson Service Station here.

Mr. Olson died July 7, 1948. She was a clerk in the J.M. McDonald Co. in Hartington for many years.

Mrs. Olson was a member of the American Lutheran Church Women and was a charter member of the Merry Menders.

Survivors include a son, Mertin of Hartington; two daughters, Mrs. Moe (Edna) Gardner of Beatrice and Mrs. Robert (Carolyn) Erickson of Papillion; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Miller of Miller, S.D. and Mrs. Pearl Wicks of Carpenter; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
