Death entered another Blencoe home and took away the mother when Mrs. Melvin Young died at her home early Monday morning following a six day illness which culminated in pneumonia.

Margaret Marie Denney was born April 14, 1905 at Hamburg. Iowa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Denny. She came with her parents and family to Monona County when a young girl. On July 12, 1922 she was united in marriage to Melvin Young. To this union two children were born, Gloria 7 and Herschell 5.

Besides her husband and two children she is survived by her father, Frank Denney, stepmother, Mrs. Frank Denny, six brother, Pearl, Dan, Floyd, Ray, Victor, and Everett Denny and six sisters, Mrs. Ethel Sorenson, Mrs. Laura Parks, Mrs. Ruth Brooks, Mrs. Nellie Hardy, Mrs. Hazel Holsapple and Berdena Denny.

Funeral service were held on Wednesday afternoon from the Congregational Church in Blencoe in charge of Rev. W. Ewart Dudley and burial was made in the Little Sioux cemetery.
