Edna Mae Thomas, age 94, of Little Sioux, passed away on Sunday evening, February 24th at the Elmwood Nursing Home in Onawa, where she had been a resident for the past twelve years.

She was born on January 5th, 1891 at Sergeant Bluff to Allen and Jane Little. She was married to Elmer Thomas on June 9th, 1913 at Onawa, and lived nearly all her life at Pisgah and Little Sioux. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Little Sioux .

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Edwin (Hazel) Benetti of Little Sioux; one daughter-in-law, Adeline Thomas of Mondamin; two sisters-in-law, Margretha and Blanche Little, both of Little Sioux; 5 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 18 great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday February 27th, at the Little Sioux Methodist Church with the Rev Robert Wittstruck officiating. Interment was in Soldier Valley Cemetery near Pisgah. Hennessey-Van Cleave-Hurley funeral home in Missouri Valley was in charge of arrangements.
