Dollie Hink Flammang, age 98, of Sioux City, Iowa, and formely of Mapleton, died Saturday, October 14, 2000 at Sioux City.

Services were held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 17, 2000, at the Armstrong Chapel in Mapleton with Rev Edmund Tiedeman officating. Burial was in Ida Grove Cemetery, Ida Grove, Iowa. Connie Bridgeman was the organist for the service. Arrangements were made under the direction of the Armstrong Funeral Home of Mapleton.

Dollie Norline Hink Flammang was born April 28, 1902, at Luverne, Minnesota, the daughter of Charles and Rondena (Lee) Black. She moved to Mapleton, Iowa, at the age of 16 when her mother died. She later moved to Sioux City where she lived for two years. She married George Hink in 1928. He passed away in June of 1965. In 1977, Dollie married Anton Flammang and that same year, moved to California. Anton passed away in 1984. Dollie returned to Sioux City in 1985.

Dollie's life work was as a hairdresser.

Survivors include step children and nieces and nephews.

Along with her husbands, Dollie was preceded in death by her parents, six, brothers, William, Parker, Louis, Carl, Elmer and Doug and six sisters, Ella, Josie, Nina, Inda, LaVon and Aleda.

Pallbearers were Don Groves, Russ Olson, Irven Walter, Al Kern, Wilbur McNear and Leo Dean.
