19 December 1991Ella Molly Miller, 90, lifelong resident of Onawa, Iowa, died December 8, 1991, at Elmwood Care Centre in Onawa.
She was born March 20, 1900 in Onawa to Nick and Louise (Donner) Miller. She was a longtime homemaker in Onawa and a charter member of the Onawa Eagles Lodge.
Survivors include; one sister, Dorothy Miller of Onawa; two brothers, Evans Miller and Eddie Miller, both of Onawa; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Larry, Arthur, William, Fred and Louise; and three sisters, Eva Larson, Annie Beedle and Zadia Lambert.
Services were held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 11, 1991 at the First Christian Church in Onawa with Rev. Bryan Myers and Rev Everett Epperson officiating. The organist, Mrs. Vince Phillips accompanied the soloist Mrs Fred Gibson in the selections "How Great Thou Art" and "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere".
Honory Bearers were Wilbur Dehn, Charles Carrier, Harry Struble, Donald Loomis, Francis Reed and Chester Wright.
Active Bearers were Jack Miller, Gerald D Miller, Boyd Miller, Lyle Lambert, Lynn Reed and Kenneth Beedle.
Interment was in the Onawa Cemetery with arrangments by the Pearson Funeral Home, Onawa, Iowa.
