Bernadine Ruth Gulick, 44, Sloan, Iowa, passed away suddenly May 11, 1981 at St Lukes Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa.

She was born January 31, 1937 at Moville, Iowa to Marvin and Margaret Belew Bradley. On April 19, 1952, she was united in marriage to Freddie Gulick at Elk Point, South Dakota. She has lived in Sioux City until 1952 when she moved to Sloan area where she had lived since then. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Sioux City, Iowa.

Survivors include her husband, Freddie; 1 son, Randy of Sloan; 5 daughters, Mrs Ray (Tresa) Meehl, Sloan, Mrs Wes (Rita) Buck, Sioux City, Iowa, Mrs. Stephen (Penni) Ritchie, Hornick and Patricia and Shawn, both of Sloan; her mother, Mrs Margaret Felix, SIoux City; 2 brothers, Jerry and Steve Felix, both of Sioux City; 4 sisters, Mrs. Mike (Cindy) Wilson and Mrs. John (Nancy) Bradley, both of SIoux City, Mrs Jim (Janice) Dove, Garland, Texas, and Mrs. Buford (LaVada) Jolly, Tampa, FLorida and 4 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, 2 sons, 1 granddaughter and 2 sisters.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, May 14, 1981 at 10:30 a.m. at the Wood Funeral Chapel at Sloan, with Rev. Edward Moberg officiating. The organist was Mrs. Wilbur Ray and she accompanuied the soloist, William Johnson, who sang "Rock Of Ages" and "Old Rugged Cross".

Bearers were Fred Linscott, Greg Meehl, Monte Adams, Dick Hubert, Carroll Jensen, and Wayne Copple.

Interment was in Hite Cemetery at Whiting, Iowa with arrangements by the Wood Funeral Home of Sloan, Iowa.
