Juanita Evon Hieber, 78, died June 15, 1997 at Blencoe, Iowa.

She was born February 17, 1919 at Anthon, Iowa, the daughter of Michael D. and Margie I (Bradfield) Schoenherr. Juanita was united in marriage to Edgar "Unk" Hieber on September 26, 1936 at Onawa, Iowa. Her beloved husband died on April 9, 1987.

Survivors include her children, Larry Hieber of Castana, Iowa, Nancy Albers of Mapleton, Iowa, Joan Chandler of Castana, Iowa and Vincent Hieber of Moorhead, Iowa; her brother, Norman Schoenherr of Onawa, Iowa; many grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved ones.

Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Hieber, son Jack, and an infant son.

Funeral Services were held Tuesday, June 17, 1997 at 10:30 a.m. at the Armstrong Chapel in Mapleton, Iowa. Rev Edgar Bode officiated.

Pallbearers were Mark Walker, Jeff McCord, DJ Cox, Brad Walker, Tim McCord, Gary Prell.

Interment was in Mount Hope Cemetery, Mapleton, Iowa.

Armstrong Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
