One Time Resident dies in Oregon

Mrs Edward (Hollister) Batman of Salem, Oregon died on January 12, 1979 in Salem. She was born July 2, 1893. She had reached the age of 86 years.

Mrs Batman was a dental assistant for many years for Dr McCollman in Mapleton. Her parents Mr and Mrs Niles Hollister came to Mapleton in the 1860's from Wisconsin. They were one of the early pioneers of Mapleton.

Funeral services will be held today, January 16, 1979 at the Rodney Congregational Church at 1:00 p.m.
