Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, 1972 at the Willman Funeral Home in Rodney, Iowa for Hallard James Ham, age 59, of Ida Grove who died Sunday, June 25, 1972, at an Ida Grove Hospital. Rev E.E. Epprerson of Onawa officiated and burial was in the Grant Cemetery.

Mr Ham was born July 30, 1912 at Rodney. He married Evelyn Thompson September 14, 1942 at Waynesville, Missouri.

Survivors include the widow; five daughters; Mrs Ed (Nancy) Burkhart of Smithland, Mrs William (JoAnn) Patriaich of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Miss Joyce Ham of Grand Island, Nebraska, Miss Larrene and Miss Larraine of Galva; two sons; Sgt Harlan of Anchorage, Alaska and Harley of Indianapolis, Indiana, his mother; Mrs Hattie Ham of Smithland; three brothers; Wilton of Smithland, Emmet of NMapleton and Wilfred of Tekamah, Nebraska; two sisters; Mrs Iverl (Elma) Petty of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Mrs Lefty (Zetta) Hyde of Osseo, Minnesota and six grandchildren.
