Orvel Mauch, age 75 of Fort Dodge, Iowa, died Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at his home after struggling several months with cancer.

Services were held Friday, June 24 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church with interment being held at St. Clair Cemetery in Ute.

He was born May 3, 1930 in Castana, Iowa the son of George Edward and Emma (Miller) Mauch. He married Bessie McBride on September 28, 1951. She died November 24, 1989 and Orvel married Ava Panzi September 8, 1990.

Survivors include his wife, Ava; his daughters, Beverly, Martha, Lily, Sally and Annette and their spouses, two step-children, Pauline Brasher and Kevin Panzi; and many other relatives.
