Onawa, Iowa-- Mrs Clifford W Young, 93, of Onawa, died Wednesday in a hospital at Onawa.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the United Methodist Church. The Rev Herbert Foxworthy will officiate. Burial will be in Onawa Cemetery under the direction of the Pearson Funeral Home.

Mrs Young, the former Mildred Grant, was born April 27, 1887 in Union Center, Wis. She earned a nursing degree at the University of Iowa.

She was married July 28, 1910 at Anamosa. They moved to Onawa in 1911 where Dr Young practiced medicine until his death June 27, 1958.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Hospital Auxillary. She was a member and past district officer of the United Methodist Women's Society and a 50-year member and past matron of the Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include one son, Clifford of Onawa; and two grandchildren.

A memorial has been established in her name for the church organ fund.
