Henry E Knutson, 75, died Friday morning at his residence in Sioux City after a long illness.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First Lutheran Church with the Rev George Dahl officiating. Burial will be in St Clair Township Cemetery in Ute. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. Sunday at Anderson-Perasso Funeral Home.

Mr Knutson was born April 4, 1910 in Soldier. He married Luella Namanny on May 1, 1933 in Onawa. The couple came to Sioux City from Ute in 1945. He was a roofer and later worked at Wincharger Corp. He retired in 1968.

He was a member of First Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son Ronald, and a daughter, Jean James, all of Sioux City; a brother, Wilmer "Pete" Knutson of Sloan and two grandchildren
