Neva U Vanderkamp, 94, of Elk Point, SD formerly of SIoux City, died Saturday May 29, 1993 at the Prairie Estates Care Center, Elk Point.

Mrs Vanderkamp, the former Neva Boslaugh was born March 25, 1899, in Castana, daughter of a pioneer family. She was raised in Castana, attending school there and working the family farm with her horse Prince. She moved to Sioux City around 1940, then to Jefferson in late 1989.

Survivors include her daughter, Mrs (El) Nora (Hall) VanDyke of Jefferson; 12 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Boslaugh and Tennie Utterback; her husband Walter "Van" Vandekamp; four children, Hubert, Ruby Woody, Elvin "Tam" Hall and LaVina "Tiny" Kruse; a sister and a brother.
