Castana, Iowa--Lucas Michael Jensen, 21, of Castana passed away Friday, Aug. 8, 2003, at his home following an illness with cancer.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. John Catholic Church in Onawa, Iowa, with the Rev. Harry D. McAlpine officating. Burial will be in Center Cemetery in Castana. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Rush Family Care Service in Onawa.

Lucas was born March 6, 1982, at Sioux City, the son of Michael and Debbie (Rose) Jensen. Lucas attended Maple Valley High School and was employed with Crossroads of Western Iowa.

He was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Onawa. He enjoyed music and was dearly loved by his family.

Survivors include his parents, Michael and Debbie of Castana: two sisters, Elizabeth and her husband, Jared Bruening of Iowa City, Iowa and Laura Jensen of Castana: his maternal grandparents, Lyle and DiAnn Rose of Castana: and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bill and Dorothy Jensen; and great-grandparents, Ned and Evelyn Perrin, Beulah Irwin and Roscoe Rose.
