Mapleton, Iowa - Special:

Funeral services for John G. EDGINGTON, 79, Mapleton area farmer, will be at 11 a.m. Firday at the WALTER Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Leonard W. ROWES of the St. John Methodist Church will officiate and burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery.

Graveside rites will be conducted by the Quarry Lodge No. 404 AF&AM of Mapleton.

Mr. EDGINGTON died Wednesday at his farm home five miles east of Mapleton. He was born July 25, 1886, in Cooper Township and lived there with his parents untill attending Iowa State University at Ames, Iowa. He married Frances GOOCH, Jan. 1, 1913, at Ute, Iowa. She died July of 1962.

Mr. EDGINGTON was a member of the St. John Methodist Church, Quarry Lodge No. 404 AF&AM, Sioux City Consistory, Abu-Bekr Shrine Temple of Sioux City, Order of the Eastern Star No. 300 of Mapleton, and Commandry No. 13 of Ida Grove, Iowa.

Survivors include three sons, John Jr. of Omaha, and Ralph and Frank of Mapleton; six grandchildren and two great granchildren.
