Thou art gone dear father
Thou are gone to rest
Gone from us forever
For to dwell among the Blest
Dearest father you have left us
How they absence now we feel
It is God who has bereft us
He shall all our sorrows heal.
You are gone but not forgotten
By the ones who loved you

Best
When our souls are laid to rest
