Mrs. Florence Leach Is Buried
Funeral Service Were Held From Brown Undertaking Parlors Sunday Afternoon

Mrs. Leach Was Almost Instantly Killed in an Automobile Accident Which Occurred on the Onawa-Turin Grade ten Days Ago—Rev Walter Officiated at the Funeral

On Sunday afternoon at the Brown Funeral Home a private funeral service was held for Mrs. Florence Leach, age 81, who was accidentally killed in an automobile accident which occurred about ten days ago on the Onawa-Turin grade.
Only near friends and relatives attended the funeral on Sunday afternoon of this good woman and pioneer. Rev. Walker pastor of the Onawa Christian Church, the church in which Mrs. Leach held her membership and in whose activities she had been a worthy and trusted servant for many years, gave the funeral address. Song was sang by Mrs. Walter Plinske and Mr. Harry Miller who were accompanied by Mrs. Glenn Edwards. Burial was made in the Onawa Cemetery.

Mrs. Leach was loved and held in high respect by all those who knew her, for many years she had toiled in the church of her faith, coming to Onawa when her children were small for the purpose of educating them she has since that time made her home in this vicinity.

She leaves to mourn her loss her three daughters and one son.

Her daughter Emily, who was seriously injured in the same accident which caused her mother’s death is still confined to the hospital, while she is not out of danger, she has shown a marked improvement, and her hundreds of friends in this vicinity hope and pray for her safe recovery.
