Mrs. Stanley Benner (Mable Fletcher Seaman), 83 years, 4 months, 6 days, passed away on Jan. 10, 1976 in Burgess Memorial Hospital in Onawa, IA.
Services were at 1:30 p.m., Jan. 13th in the Onawa Christian Church with the Rev. Evertt Epperson officiating. Burial was in Harrison Cemetery with Wood Funeral Home, Whiting in charge.
Mrs. Benner, the former Mabel Eldora Fletcher, was born Sept. 4, 1892 in Whiting, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Charlie Seaman and to this union, three children were born. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie and two daughters, Mrs. Julia Hidde and Mrs.Lloyd (Gladys) Mann. Three sisters, Mrs. Raymond (Florence) Polly, Mrs. Wayne (Bonnie) Wilson, Mrs. Frank (Lydia) Katenburger and three brothers, Glen, Park and Dale Fletcher also preceded her in death.
In 1957, She was united in marriage to Stanley Benner of Harrisonville, Mo. He also preceded her in death.
She is survived by one son, Merle Seaman of Onawa, Three sisters, Mrs. Goldie Gulick and Mrs. Sid (Gladys) Gulick both of Whiting, and Mrs. Robert (Alta) Crawford of Summersville, Mo., A brother, Doris Fletcher of Whiting; nine grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews and many friends.
