Funeral Services for C. L. Henderson, are Held at Sioux City

Monona County residents will be interested in the announcement of the funeral services for C. L. Henderson which were held at the Christy Funeral Home in Sioux City on Saturday. Burial was in the Graceland cemetery.

Mr. Henderson, whom many will recall as "Chap", was born at Ticonic, August 28, 1870 and had spent the most of his life in Monona and Woodbury counties. He was married to Miss Sophia Fulsos at Bassett, Nebr. in 1913. For years his hobby had been that of old-time fiddling and it was while entertaining a group at the Golden Age Club in Sioux City that he suffered a heart attack and died before reaching a hospital.

Mr. Henderson, a brother of the late Mrs. Jennie Carter of Whiting and the survivors, besides the widow in Sioux City include the Carter Nieces in Whiting. Other nieces and nephews are: Howard Henderson of Cedar Rapids; Ed Henderson, Altadena, California; Ralph and Harold Henderson and Melvin Montgomery of Sioux City; Jessie and Helen Henderson of Billings, Montana; R. J. Henderson of Hot Springs, Ark.; and R. H. Carter, of Washington, D. C.
