Castana Farmer Dies of a Heart Attack

Funeral services for Herman Bouslaugh, 43. A life long resident of Castana vicinity who died of a heart attack on Thursday, October 19th, 1954 were held Thursday at the Castana community Church. Rev George Osborne officiated and burial was made in the Center Cemetery.

Mr. Bouslaugh was born September 15, 1911 at Castana, Iowa. He married Madeline Starr on December 21, 1934 at the Desmoines, Iowa.

Survivors are the widow, a daughter, Janice Lee: and a son Billy Herman, both at home, his mother, Mrs Maude Bouslaugh of Castana, two brothers, Floyd of Onawa, Iowa and Leslie of Castana, two sisters, Mrs Myrtle Phillips of Bremerton, Washington and Mrs Vade Sorensen of Castana.
