Mrs Laura Crippen Dies at the Age of 86 Years

Mrs. Laura Crippen, age 86 years and the wife of the late Henry Crippen, who were early residents of Onawa, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Jacoba, 615 South 15th Street, Council Bluffs, Iowa, April 26, 1954.

Mrs. Crippen was a member of the Onawa Christian Church. She was the mother of nine children. Her husband and three children prededed her in death.
She is survived by three sons and three daughters, Myrtle Jacoba, Council Bluffs, Iowa: Harriet Mee, Sioux City, Iowa: Henry Crippen, Omaha, Nebraska: Anna E Bryant, Long Beach, Calif: James Crippen, San Pedro, Calif: Clarence Crippen, Beaumont, Calif.

She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Services for Mrs Crippen were held from the mortuary in Council Bluffs, Iowa on April 28, 1954. Interment was in the Council Bluff Cemetery.

Mrs Crippen will be remembered by many of the older residents of Onawa.
