Groom, Wayne ~ Feb. 18, 1954

Wayne Groom of Eagle Grove, about 60, died suddenly of a heart attach Sunday evening. He was in Fort Dodge at the time of his death where he and his wife had a room while he was barbering there. Funeral services and burial was in Eagle Grove Wednesday afternoon.

Surviving besides his wife is one married daughter, Catherine, who lives at Eagle Grove. Mrs. Groom is the former Emma Christianson, daughter of the late Mr. And Mrs. Hans Christianson of Soldier and a sister of Mrs. Bob Nordaker.

Mr. Groom was well known here and in the Ute vicinity where he barbered for many years.
