Miss Pearl Altmanshofer and Joseph Uhl Jr. were married at St. Mary's church Tuesday morning at 8:30 o'clock the ceremony being performed by the paster Father Wagener. Miss Alice Altmanshofer a sister of the bride was bridesmaid and William Uhl Jr. a brother of the groom was the best man. Little Emogene Altmanshofer acted as ringbearer. Mrs. Uhl is a daughter of John Altmanshofer and is well known and popular here. Mr. Uhl is a son of William Uhl for many years a resident here, but has always resided with his grandfather Joseph Uhl.
A wedding dinner was served to the wedding guests after the ceremony at the Joseph Uhl Sr. home and the guests were also given a wedding dance at the local Opera House in the evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Uhl will reside on the home place while Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Uhl Sr. will shortly move into town and occupy the cottage on Main St, recently purchased by them.
