Miss Lucille Zeiman and John C. Uhl Married Thursday

Miss Lucille Zeiman, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Nick Zeiman of Denison, but formerly of Mapleton, and John C. Uhl, son of Mr. & Mrs. Xavier Uhl of Danbury, were married Thursday morning of last week (20 Feb 1941) at 9 o'clock in the St. Rose of Lima Catholic church in Denison. This also was the 41st wedding anniversary of the groom's parents.

Rev. Casey, pastor of the church, read the ceremony in the presence of friends and relatives.
They were attended by Miss Elizabeth Uhl, twin sister of the groom, and Gilbert Zeiman, brother of the bride.

A wedding breakfast for the bridal party was served in the home of Rev. Casey. Later a wedding dinner prepared by Mrs. Ben Hupke and Mrs. August Rauterkus of Mapleton was served in the home of the bride's parents. A large wedding cake baked by Mrs. Hupke served as a centerpiece on the bridal table. The dinner was served by Miss Beatrice Schoenherr, Miss Dorothy Uhl, Miss Loretta Uhl and Miss Bernice Uhl, all of Mapleton.

Mr. & Mrs. Uhl entertained their friends at a dance in the evening in the American Legion and Auxilliary hall in Mapleton.

They will make their home on a farm 4 1/2 miles east of Danbury.
