Miss Velma Carter and Arnold Grell Married Saturday

Miss Velma Carter, daughter of Mr.Mrs. William Carter of Charter Oak, but formerly of Mapleton, and Arnold Grell, son of Mr.Mrs. Matt Grell of Mapleton were married Saturday afternoon (8 Feb 1941) at 12:30 o'clock by Rev. August Rueber, pastor of St. Matthew's Lutheran church, at his home in Mapleton.

She was attended by Miss Jeanette Grell of Mapleton, sister of the groom. The groom was attended by Walter Albeck of Denison.

A wedding supper was served in the home of the bride's parents at Charter Oak. Guests there included the groom's parents, Mr.& Mrs. Grell, and Mr.& Mrs. Lloyd Olson of Mapleton.

At present Mr. & Mrs. Grell are making their home with his parents, but later will go on a farm.
