J. Q. Adams, proprietor of the Mapleton dray line, was born in Franklin county.
Me., in 1837; moved to Iowa in 1854. He moved to Onawa in 1858, and engaged in
farming. He engaged in his present business in Mapleton, Jan. 25th, 1881.
