I am not sure... I did try searching newspaperArchives for Minnesota and for Iowa, and found nothing helpful. So much for ONLINE sources..

The St. Ansgar Enterprise was around then, and might have what you are looking for. The Nissen Library in St. Ansgar has that paper on microfilm.

The Mitchell County Press-News might be a good possibility, and those issues are at the Osage Public Library.

The Cresco Times-Leader, or whatever the name is, might possibly have it, but that would not be my first choice. Not sure how far back those issues go.
