Patti,

It looks like your Peter Brown is buried at the Orchard Cemetery, near Orchard, Mitchell county, Iowa (in West Lincoln township). The cemetery database at the mitchell county gen web site lists a Peter Brown died March 18, 1898 (no tombstone).
