Rev. Jonathan Page owned land in Mitchell County and he died there in 1861. He was a preacher and circuit rider. Family history has him preaching as far west as Mason City, IA and preaching into SE Minnesota and NE Iowa. He also owned land in Winneshiek and Allamakee Co, Iowa. While living in Canada Rev. Page was a Baptist Minister. Does anybody have any information on Rev. Page? Am curious to see where he preached (in homes or churches etc.) His body was returned to Winneshiek Co for burial. His wife was Sarah (Blake) Page and I am unsure if she passed before or after him but I have a feeling that she passed before he did. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
