NELS SEIM OR SIME BERIT POLIE OR SOLIE

I am looking for information on my grandparents marriage. Berit & a 1 1/2 year old son came to this country in 1878 from Norway and then came to Iowa. Later she was found in Mower County, Minnesota with my grandfather Nels Seim. I'm not sure if he came to Mitchel county in Iowa but I do know that it was an area close to the Minnesota boarder. Would appreciate any information anyone could have on this couple.
