My Grandmother was Grace Bartle, daughter of Albert Bartle and Clara Estelle French. In 1880 they lived in Liberty, Mitchell County, Iowa. In 1900 lived in Osage, Mitchell Iowa. Grace was born near Osage, Mitchell County, Iowa. Grace Estelle Bartle, attended the Osage grade and highschool and graduated from the Cedar Valley Seminary before teaching school for several years. Cedar Valley Seminary is now the Mitchell County Historical Society.

Albert's parents were John Eva Bartle born 4/16/1822 in Cornwall England. Immigrated to the Dodgeville/Mineral Point area of Wisconsin in 1833.
