Helen M. Pike, age 69 of Austin, Minnesota passed away peacefully December 5, 2018 at her home with her loving family by her side.

Helen Marie Pike was born May 2, 1949, in Osage, Iowa to Lawrence and Elaine (Wilde) Pike. She grew up in St. Ansgar, Iowa and graduated from St. Ansgar High School in 1967. Throughout her years Helen worked at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester as a surgical tech, and at the Hormel Institute for over 30 years in cancer research. She was a member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church and Moose Lodge Women's Auxiliary. Anyone who was close to Helen knew she loved Bingo and watching tennis. She also enjoyed winter trips to Arizona. Helen's true passion was caring for her family and friends and making certain everyone around her was happy. Her strong, beautiful spirit was with her until the end.

Survivors include her son, Jonathan Pike (Beth Grell) of Austin, Minnesota; sister, Linda Unverzagt of Austin, Minnesota; brother, Wayne (Rhonda) Pike of Sparta, Wisconsin; and many nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Elaine Pike.

A celebration of life will be held at the Eagle's Club in Austin, MN January 19. All of Helen's family and friends are welcomed to attend. Burial will be in the First Lutheran Cemetery, St. Ansgar, Iowa.
