Suicide at Osage.
Osage, Iowa, Dec. 22.—Mrs. George Lewis committed suicide by blowing her brains out with a shot gun. No motive is known for the rash act. She leaves a little daughter 6 years old, and a husband. Mr. Lewis has always been a good provider and has been a good husband and father. Mrs. Lewis tried once before to end her life by taking poison, but was unsuccessful.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Minnie and that she was born April 24, 1872 and died Dec. 20, 1897. She is buried in the Osage Cemetery.
