Mark Victor Ewy, age 52, of Osage, died Monday, January 13, 2020, at his home in Osage.

Cremation has taken place.

There will be a gathering of family and friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2020, at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage. Graveside inurnment services will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Riceville at a later date.

Mark was born October 16, 1967, in Osage, Iowa, the son of Victor and Arla (Wendorff) Ewy. He graduated from Riceville Community High School in 1986, and from NIACC in Mason City in 1988, with an Associate in Applied Science in Automotive Technology. Mark had previously worked at White Farm in Charles City and at Theobald’s in Stacyville, and was currently employed at RR Donnelley in Osage. He enjoyed cars, motorcycles, and watching football.

Mark is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and Loren Harris of Osage; and sister-in-law, Marlene Severson, and nephew, Jamie Severson, both of Nooksack, Washington.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Arla Ewy; and step-brother, Gary Severson.
