Mrs. Thos. McCook Sr. of Riceville, mother of John McCook, passed away on Thursday evening, March 5th, and her funeral was held on Sunday last. The Riceville Recorder publishes a most appropriate obituary which we shall give in our next issue.

Transcriber’s Note; Find a Grave shows this was Euphema who is buried in Riverside Cemetery and was born March 14, 1836 and died March 5, 1908
