Jackie Kapustynski, age 52, of Mason City and formerly of Osage, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2019, in Osage.

According to Jackie’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 8, 2019, at the Osage American Legion Hall, 504 Main Street, Osage, Iowa.

Jackie was born June 29, 1966, in Eagle Grove, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Rosetta (Gifford) Blumer. She attended Corwith-Wesley-LuVerne Schools. On September 17, 1988, Jackie married Paul Kapustynski at the United Methodist Church at Britt, Iowa. She enjoyed thrift shopping, antiquing, going to concerts, cooking, and Patron (Tequila). She was an avid animal lover, and over the years had a variety of pets. Jackie loved working on the farm and especially loved spoiling her grandchildren.

In keeping with Jackie’s beautiful and generous spirit, it was her decision to be an organ donor, a cause that was very important to her throughout her life.

Jackie is survived by her children, Heather Kapustynski of Humboldt, Kyle Kapustynski of Osage, and Trevor Kapustynski of Osage; her grandchildren, Azilyn, Cody, Carley, and Jocelyn; husband, Paul Kapustynski; and brother, David Blumer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Tim Blumer.
