Mildred Rose Rogers, age 88, of Osage, died Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at Osage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Osage.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 30, 2018, at Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage with Father Raymond Burkle presiding. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Osage.

Mildred was born October 14, 1929, in Stacyville, Iowa, the daughter of Isidore and Catherine (Salz) Weber. She graduated from Visitation High School in Stacyville.

On July 17, 1948, Mildred married James Francis Rogers at Sacred Heart Church. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church. Her interests and hobbies were cooking, gardening and politics.

Mildred is survived by two daughters, Jeanine Gaynor of New Berlin, Wisconsin, and Sheila Rogers of Osage; grandson, Daniel Boylan of California; and two great-grandchildren, Hayleigh Huntley Boylan and Tanner Huntley Boylan of California; brothers, Jim (Barb) Weber of Osage, Arnold Weber of California, and Vince Weber of Osage; and sisters, Mary McIntyre of Osage and Alice Kundo of Utah. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James; her parents; brothers, Harold and Roman; and sisters, Jane, Armela and Dorothy.
