Raymond Keith Zieman, 54, of Peoria, Illinois, and formerly of Rockford, Iowa, died Tuesday May 1, 2018, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at the Bridge Church (formerly the 1st Wesleyan Church) 913 South Main Street, Charles City, with Pastor Matthew Hoveland officiating. Inurnment will be at the Riverside Cemetery in Rockford.

Ray was born April 2, 1964, in Osage, Iowa, the son of Lloyd and Janet (Hyatt) Zieman. He attended Rudd Rockford Marble Rock School. Ray worked in construction and drove semi. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, cooking, especially BBQ and carpentry.

Ray is survived by two children, Kristen and Brandon Zieman of Wisconsin; two brothers and three sisters, Christi (Gerald) Squier of Overland Park, Kansas, John (Charlotte) Zieman of Overland Park, Kansas, Lloydette Zieman of Overland Park, Kansas, Zelda (Matthew) Hoveland of Osage and Mark Zieman of Osage.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
