Obituary for Ronald Dishinger

Ronald Dishinger, age 86, of Osage formerly of Riceville passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage, Iowa.

Ronald was born on September 7, 1931 at Little Cedar, Iowa, son of Elizabeth Goergen and Joseph Dishinger. He was united in marriage to Gloria Wells on February 25, 1967 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. He loved to farm, International and Farmall tractors, and his dog Zoey.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria of Osage, Iowa; his sons Michael (Taby Kleman girlfriend) of Osage, IA., Gary and fiancée Tanya Seddon of Altoona, IA., and Lonnie of Cresco, IA; six grandchildren: Garrett of Columbia, MO, Allie of Warrensburg, MO, Grant of Des Moines, IA, Jeremy of Orchard, IA, and John and Jason of Osage, IA; one sister, Delores Brockney of Mason City, IA., and his beloved dog Zoey.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Harold Dishinger, Donald Dishinger, and Dean Dishinger; and by two sisters, Gladys Petty and Matilda “Tilly” Quiggle.

Ronald Dishinger, age 86, of Osage formerly of Riceville passed away Wednesday January 24, 2018 at Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage, Iowa. Funeral services will be held Saturday January 27, 2018 at 10:30 am at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Riceville, Iowa with Father Raymond Burkle officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Riceville. Friends may call at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Riceville on Friday from 4 – 7 PM.
