Kenneth Eugene Nicol, 86, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2018, in Rockford, Illinois.

Kenneth was born on October 25, 1931 in Osage, son of Morris and May Korte Nicol.

He graduated with the Osage High School Class of 1950. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy for four years. He married Mavis Hunt on July 10, 1954 in Rockford. She passed away in 2003.

Kenneth is survived by his son, Randy; daughters, Sue Ann and Patti; and several grandchildren, all of Rockford; sister, Ruby (Robert) Tabor of Del Rio, Texas and Edna Pitzen; and brother, Carroll (Lorene) Nicol of Osage.

He is preceded in death by his infant brother, Marvin Nicol; sister and brothers in law, Margaret Nicole, Marilyn (Robert) Beyer, Dorothy (Dale) Bublitz and Marvin Pitzen.
