Moved to Heaven on December 30, 2015 at the age of 83. Life partner of Vera Avery for 18 years.

Father of Tim Lievrouw, David (Claire) Lievrouw, Doreen (George) Niedermayer and Dennis (Susan) Lievrouw; grandpa of 12; great-grandpa of three; great-great-grandpa of one; brother of Ron (Kathy) Lievrouw, Terry Lee (Teresa) Lievrouw and Bonnie Lou (Jerry) Nichols.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ann Lievrouw, and grandson, Michael Lievrouw.

Visitation will be Saturday January 9, 2016 at the Funeral Home from 10am until a Memorial Funeral Service is held at 12pm.

Memorials to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation or to the Korean War Veteran’s Memorial would be greatly appreciated.

George Henry “Georgie” Lievrouw was born on November 4, 1932, West of Mitchell, Rock Township; southwest of Mitchell, Iowa. Mitchell County, at home; the son of Henry "Hank" and
Ann Marie Elizabeth "Annie" (Maertens) Lievrouw. He graduated from St. Ansgar High School in 1952. George served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Korea for two years. He worked for American Motors Company (AMC) for 30 years and retired in 1988. He worked for Roskopf’s RV for 24 years. In 1998, he met his life partner, Vera Avery. George lived in Menomonee Falls for 53 years. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church for many years. He enjoyed being outdoors, taking care of his yard, driving his Jeep, and spending time with Vera and his grandchildren.

George is survived by his life partner, Vera Avery of Menomonee Falls; his children, Timothy Lievrouw of Albert Lea, Minnesota, David (Claire) Lievrouw of West Allis, Doreen (George) Niedermayer of Waukesha, and Dennis (Susan) Lievrouw of Germantown; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson. He is further survived by his siblings, Ron (Kathy) Lievrouw of Mason City, Iowa, Terry Lee (Teresa) Lievrouw of Florence, Arizona, and Bonnie Lou (Jerry) Nichols of St. Ansgar, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ann Lievrouw, and grandson, Michael Lievrouw.
