JOHN IMMEL DIES
AT COUNTY FARM

John Immel, 70, passed away at the county home last Friday night after a several-month illness, from cancer of the stomach.

Mr. Immel had lived in this vicinity since he was a young man. He came here from Wisconsin, evidently with others of the family, as a brother, William, and a sister, both reside at Charles City.

Deceased worked on farms near Osage, among them the Walter Runge place, where he spent a number of years. He made his home during the winters with the John Webers, near Floyd.

Funeral services was held Monday afternoon at the Shelledy Funeral Home and burial was in the Osage cemetery.
