NAOMI LUBIENS RITES HELD AT METHODIST CHURCH
Funeral services for Miss Naomi M. Lubiens, 65, who died Friday, July 25, 1962 at Cedar Valley hospital in Charles City, were held Monday, July 30, 1962 at the St. Ansgar Methodist Church with the Rev. Lloyd Brockmeyer officiating.
Naomi Minnie Lubiens was born March 18, 1897 in St. Ansgar the daughter of Robert and Alice Delaney Lubiens. She lived most of her life in St. Ansgar except for some years that she lived and worked in Cedar Rapids.
Miss Lubiens was stricken with polio at the age of 11 which left her with a badly curved spine. In spite of this handicap she led a normal life, working for many years as a dental technician in the offices of Dr. E.K. Allen.
She is survived by one sister, Irma (Mrs. S.A. Kleinwort) of St. Ansgar; also three nieces, Mrs. Otto (Irma) Tesch of St. Ansgar, Gladys Bowles of Washington, D.C. and Mrs. Oliver (Shirley) Fossey of St. Ansgar; one nephew, Robert Kleinwort of St. Ansgar and their families.
Burial was in the St. Ansgar city cemetery with Rev. Brockmeyer in charge of the committal services.
