RICEVILLE, IOWA - Glenroy A. Annett, 96, of Austin, Texas, and formerly of Riceville, died Monday, November 7, 2005, in Austin, Texas.

He was born April 21, 1909, in New Hampton, son of Joseph and Mary Annett. He married Ruby Marie Lawson. She preceded him in death.

Mr. Annett worked for Watkins and General Mills for many years before returning to full-time farming.

Survivors include a daughter, Glenda Lewis of Austin; two grandchildren and two great-grandsons.

Preceded in death by a son, Vern.

Graveside services: 11 a.m. Saturday at New Hampton Cemetery. Conway-Kolbet Funeral Home, New Hampton, is in charge of arrangements.
