James David Weber, 66, of rural Austin, Minnesota, died Monday, March 23, 2015, at his home.

James was born on May 1, 1948. His parents were Edward and Agnes (Lammers) Weber. He grew up near Little Cedar, Iowa, graduated from Osage High School in 1966 and attended
Hamilton College. He later purchased his farm, where he presided until his death.

James was very hardworking as he farmed and maintained a full-time job all of his life. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed going to auction sales. He would always find time to have a cup of coffee with his friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Agnes Weber.

James is survived by his sister: Mary Brown; one nephew: Jason Brown; and many cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary with the Rev. Dennis Tamke officiating. Interment will be at St. Ansgar City Cemetery. Visitation will be at the mortuary on Saturday for one hour before the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
